Fibroscope Inspection Benefits

Before scheduling an overhaul, all steam turbine operators should have a fiberscope inspection conducted.  This provides invaluable information about the condition of one of the most critical areas of the turbine - the nozzles and 1st stage.  Often a fiberscope will show that an overhaul isn't necessary.  A video tape, and hardcopy report with still shots of particular importance are provided with each inspection.  A copy of the video and report on CD may be available at the customers' request
